wow another blog post?!? i expected to burn out after like 3 (yes.. i am that kind of person) anyways my holiday is over... my next one isn't until december. orz also how is it already the middle of june?! atrocious

another blog abt books bc why not. despite my previous blog where i show my super cool annotations for in ascension that will take ten billion years to finish, i went and bought 3 new books: *drumroll*
1) convenience store woman by sayaka murata, 2) the god and the gumiho by sophie kim and 3) hyo the hellmaker by mina ikemoto ghosh!!
it my defense i hadn't bought any books for the past few months due to my changing preferences when it comes to fiction, so it had to mean something when these caught my eye. or rather their covers did, which is mainly how i pick out my books lmao
im a big fan of convenience store woman's cover especially because the colours are so right up my alley. the design is simple but absolutely stunning.. im in love. god and gumiho's and hyo's covers are also amazing aaa
the illustrations in hyo the hellmaker are also apparently done by the author!! very nice detail, love when authors draw for their books!!
i'm very excited to read these, and maybe annotate them too. and of course, once i'm done reading i'll have to do a review :-)

also today i discovered the chromate ion (CrO42-). the formula technically says kro too isnt that cool?? u guys can imagine me as this now this is my new persona /j

or wait. introducing: chromic acid!!! (H2CrO4) this one is more similar to chromix. i mean, its one letter off so its basically the same (also a joke. apparently chromix is a white colour. huh. i guess u learn something random everyday) ok that concludes my scientific revelations. good bye tbh idk what to do with this information. i guess i have a negative 2 charge now anyone wanna be the cation to my anion follow me for more awesome science facts (this would be really funny as an april fools joke tbh. see u next year. not really)
